Guidelines for Grants for Special Projects

In ICOM's 2004 Budget, the Executive Council has included an amount to support the special projects of the National and International Committees, and Regional Organizations. These projects will be examined by the Executive Council in December 2003.

Information Brochures
preferably on ICOM activities
Publications Training Programmes
- aims and objectives - aims and objectives - aims and objectives
- contents - contents - methodology of the training programme
- languages used - authors - selection of the trainees
- number of pages - languages used - description of teaching material
- geographical distribution - number of pages - number of trainees
- cost estimates - number of copies - cost estimates
- number of copies - geographical distribution  
- cost estimates
- price for ICOM member
- price for non-ICOM member

A maximum contribution of US$10.000 may be requested from ICOM for each project.
A maximum of one (1) project will be approved for any individual Committee/ Organisations
Funds may only be used for the purposes specified as approved.

By November 1st, 2004, a report must be submitted to the Secretary General on the use of the sum granted. Together with this report (which should enclose all the bills/receipts), the Committee should send 10 copies of its information brochure or publication.
In case the amount granted has not been used, you must inform the ICOM Secretary General and request postponement for a maximum of one (1) year.

ATTENTION: In principle, grants will NOT be awarded for administrative expenditures and/or travels
