Guidelines for Grants for Special Projects

In ICOM's 2004 Budget, the Executive Council has included an amount to support the special projects of the National and International Committees, and Regional Organizations. These projects will be examined by the Executive Council in December 2003.

Requests should be sent before October 15^th, 2003 to the

The Executive Council will consider requests for the following:

• Information Brochures (preferably on ICOM activities)
• Web-sites and other virtual means of information (preferably on ICOM activities)
• Publications
• Training Programmes

The Executive Council will give priority to the following:

• joint projects between ICOM Committees / Organisations
• joint projects with ICOM's partners
• Study Series (International Committees only)

A maximum contribution of US$10.000 may be requested from ICOM for each project.
A maximum of one (1) project will be approved for any individual Committee/ Organisations
Funds may only be used for the purposes specified as approved.

By November 1^st, 2004, a report must be submitted to the Secretary General on the use of the sum granted. Together with this report (which should enclose all the bills/receipts), the Committee should send 10 copies of its information brochure or publication.
In case the amount granted has not been used, you must inform the ICOM Secretary General and request postponement for a maximum of one (1) year.

ATTENTION: In principle, grants will NOT be awarded for administrative expenditures and/or travels
